Project brief:

Carworld Supermarket is based in Peterborough, UK, selling used cars, MPVs and 4x4s from its dedicated showrooms, as well as offering advice on vehicle finance. Q-Online was invited to help grow its website organically via search engines, improve its conversion rates from Google Ads and build its reputation across all digital platforms.

What we did

We worked closely with the team at Carworld Supermarket to understand what the business offered and how it interacted with its existing customer base. We also carried out an extensive analysis of its digital resources to identify any gaps and opportunities to increase visibility online and within its local area.

As part of a multi-pronged approach, the Q-Online team worked with Carworld Supermarket to design a digital marketing plan that included the following elements:

  • SEO analysis, keyword generation and content
  • Website development and upgrade to existing online presence
  • Creation of separate micro site to build up finance lead generations
  • Development of Google Ads campaign to maximise return on investment
  • Long-term online reputation management and development

Project results

Within a short space of time, we were able to present Carworld Supermarket with clear improvements to its visibility and market share. The company was delighted to achieve higher organic search visibility than any other car supermarket within the area. Other pleasing statistics generated from our work included more than 100% year-on-year growth in organic traffic, 40% increase in sales enquiries overall, as well as healthy finance leads from the separate micro site. The renewed online presence also helped generate excellent PR and promoted satisfied customers to leave 100% positive reviews.
